October, oh October, please can you come sooner?! While it may be true that the real fall festivities don’t start until October, there are plenty of like-minded, fall-crazed ladies out there who start getting ready in August. I’ve been trying to keep my cool, and hold off. But as August is drawing to an end, I feel more and more justified in participating in the fall craze! You want to know the best way to gauge when it’s acceptable to go full fall mode? When the return of the PSL goes live. Which, according to Starbucks, is going to be….
August 28, 2018. Also known as the day that PSL came back.
As soon as the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte hits stores, you no longer have to feel guilty about ‘fall’ing it up. Cheers to that!
In preparation for the festivities, I jotted down a couple of my fall activity must-haves, that are budget friendly! Now of course, I have a much more expansive list, and as the season goes on I know new activities will arise! But for now, a mini, cheap, and classic list of things to do!
Mini Fall Bucket List
One of the activities listed, I haven’t actually done before, so it is a SUPER must for me this year! You see, moms and Pinterest go together like peanut butter and jelly. With that knowledge, it would only makes sense to throw a fall themed DIY Pinterest party! Talk about a fun way to meet new mommies/friends!
Let’s chat: Home Decor
I am a total sucker for decorating. Hobby Lobby, Target, Michaels, TJMaxx, Marketplace, local thrift stores, all that good stuff is my jam. Just ask my husband… I’m pretty sure he has a mini heart attack every time he sees a Hobby Lobby bag.
But alas, a change of season means a change of decor. That’s just how it goes! Making a home as cozy as possible in preparation for the cold months is easily one of my favorite things to do. So naturally, my inner interior designer decided to throw some ‘dream rooms’ together. Take a peek below for some seriously cozy style inspo!
I call this the “I like fall but not the warm color scheme” look- still cozy!
Cozy Space Checklist:
- A super great couch or futon.
- An awesome rug.
- A few super cute throw pillows.
- And a super duper wonderfully soft blanket!
