Today is the day… that it is officially acceptable to turn on your favorite Christmas tunes and spread the holiday cheer! 🎄
But before we dive head first into the jolly Christmas spirit, let’s have a recap of Halloween 2017! It was my baby girl’s first ever Halloween, and is very much deserving of a recap.
I want to start out this post by giving you all a little treat… and by treat I mean it may or may not have something to do with my ridiculously cute dogs. 🐶
Our other dog is an old man and hates having stuff on him, so I didn’t want to force anything on the poor boy! So he was just his handsome, German shepherd guard dog self. He is the definition of a good boy.
Now onto my baby girl! Being only four months old, there’s not much to do. But nonetheless I couldn’t miss an opportunity to dress her up! Even if she won’t remember.
If you know my little Ms. Lils, then you know that she is my wild naked baby and prefers to be in the least amount of clothing possible. So because of that, I just couldn’t bring myself to force a frumpy costume on her. And to be honest, no one would see it because she was wrapped up in my arms the whole night anyway.
So the very much necessary “my first” onesie, candy corn striped leggings with a little black tutu, and a pumpkin beanie was the perfect little outfit for my princess.
She was cozy and happy, and that’s all a mom can hope for on Halloween.
The Trunk-or-Treat was a perfect way to spend the night because although Lily is too little to get candy, we still had her out and about and was experiencing Halloween as a family. 🖤

Oh and a last minute decision resulted in this…
Both of our faces courtesy of my girl Lauren who knows how to get the job done in a time crunch!
Family + friends + cute dogs + lots of candy = a very successful Halloween 🖤
How did your Halloween go? Are you sad it’s over or are you blasting your Christmas tunes and not looking back? 🎄
